Pennsylvania High School Basketball - William Penn Charter can't hold off Malvern Prep

The Malvern Prep Friars basketball team scored 70 points and held the host William Penn Charter Quakers to 68 in the Friars league triumph on Tuesday.
The Friars now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Springside Chestnut Hill Academy for a Inter-Academic contest on Friday, February 10. Malvern Prep will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 58-45 league win over Haverford School (Haverford, PA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 14-8.
The Quakers (15-3) will now prepare for their contest against Germantown Academy (Fort Washington, PA). The Patriots enter the Inter-Academic contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Germantown Academy was nudged by Haverford School (Haverford, PA), 73-52, in a league contest.
