In Tuesday's league outing, the Marblehead Magicians (Marblehead, MA) basketball squad beat the visiting Peabody Veterans Memorial Tanners (Peabody, MA), by a margin of 63-54.
The Magicians (10-5) will now prepare for their outing against Masconomet Regional (Boxford, MA). The Chieftains go into the non-league outing with a 5-11 record. In their last outing, Masconomet Regional was topped by Salem (Salem, MA), 58-38, in a league outing.
The Tanners now own a 12-5 record. They play next when they host Whittier RVT for a non-league outing on Friday, February 10. Peabody Veterans Memorial will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 71-62 league win over Northeast Metro RVT (Wakefield, MA). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-6.
