Nebraska High School Basketball - Sutherland trounced by Maxwell

The Maxwell Wildcats routed the visiting Sutherland Sailors basketball team by a final score of 48-20 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Medicine Valley Raiders (Curtis, NE) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 9. Maxwell will attempt to move on its 8-13 season record. The Raiders enter the game with a 3-14 record after their 54-47 non-league loss to Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] (Eustis, NE).

With the defeat, Sutherland moves to 2-14 on the year. The Sailors host Paxton (Paxton, NE) to face the Tigers in a non-league game on Thursday, February 9. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 13-4. Paxton won 68-36 in their recent non-league game against Hershey (Hershey, NE)
