Menominee Indian Eagles (Keshena, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Wabeno/Laona Rebels (Wabeno, WI), 59-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Menominee Indian upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Eagles travel to Weyauwega-Fremont (Weyauwega, WI) to play the Warhawks in a Central Wisconsin - East bout on Thursday, February 9. The Warhawks go into the bout with a record of 10-8. Weyauwega-Fremont lost 75-47 in their recent non-league bout against Brillion (Brillion, WI)

Next up, the Rebels play the Wisconsin Dells Chiefs (Wisconsin Dells, WI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 11. Wabeno/Laona will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Chiefs go into the bout with a 14-3 record after their 81-52 league win over Westfield Area (Westfield, WI).
