The Midland Bulldogs basketball team (Midland, TX), was overwhelmed 71-48 in Tuesday's league battle with the host San Angelo Central Bobcats (San Angelo, TX)
The Bobcats now possess a 23-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Frenship for a 6A Region I District 2 battle on Friday, February 10. San Angelo Central will battle a Tigers team coming off a 72-69 league win over Permian (Odessa, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 26-4.
The Bulldogs (18-10) will now prepare for their battle against Midland Legacy (Midland, TX). The Rebels come into the 6A Region I District 2 battle with a 3-26 record. In their last battle, Midland Legacy was overwhelmed by Odessa (Odessa, TX), 50-49, in a league battle.
