Seminole Indians (Seminole, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Monahans Loboes (Monahans, TX), 56-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Seminole upgrades its record to 22-8 on the season. The Indians host Pecos (Pecos, TX) to play the Eagles in a 4A Region I District 3 bout on Friday, February 10. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-22. Pecos lost 82-40 in their recent league bout against Greenwood (Midland, TX)

Next up, the Loboes play the Andrews Mustangs (Andrews, TX) in a 4A Region I District 3 bout, on Friday, February 10. Monahans will attempt to upgrade on its 22-11 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 11-17 record after their 58-44 league win over Fort Stockton (Fort Stockton, TX).
