York Institute Dragons (Jamestown, TN) fans left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad top the visiting Monterey Wildcats (Monterey, TN), 63-48 in a league outing.

The Dragons (15-9) will now prepare for their outing against Bledsoe County (Pikeville, TN). The Warriors go into the 2A District 5 outing with a 7-13 record.

The Wildcats now hold a 18-8 record. They play next when they travel to Red Boiling Springs for a non-league outing on Friday, February 10. Monterey will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 62-50 league win over Pickett County (Byrdstown, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-17.
