California High School Basketball - Nipomo edges Santa Maria

The Nipomo Titans (Nipomo, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Santa Maria Saints (Santa Maria, CA), 77-71 in Tuesday's league test.

The Titans (17-11) will now prepare for their test against Orcutt Academy (Orcutt, CA). The Spartans go into the Ocean test with a 9-18 record. In their last test, Orcutt Academy was tipped by San Luis Obispo (San Luis Obispo, CA), 86-36, in a league test.

The Saints now own a 14-13 record. They play next when they travel to Paso Robles for a Ocean test on Friday, February 10. Santa Maria will encounter a Bearcats squad coming off a 69-58 league loss to Templeton (Templeton, CA). The Bearcats record now stands at 5-22.
