Oakwood Lumberjacks (Dayton, OH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Waynesville Spartans (Waynesville, OH), 51-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Oakwood upgrades its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks travel to Franklin (Franklin, OH) to play the Wildcats in a Southwestern Buckeye - East bout on Friday, February 10. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 3-17. Franklin won 62-54 in their recent league bout against Monroe (Monroe, OH)

Next up, the Spartans play the Bellbrook Golden Eagles (Bellbrook, OH) in a Southwestern Buckeye - East bout, on Friday, February 10. Waynesville will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the bout with a 12-9 record after their 86-51 non-league win over Valley View (Germantown, OH).
