Michigan High School Basketball - Ontonagon can't hold off Wright

The Wright Red Devils basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Ontonagon Gladiators to 54 in the Red Devils league triumph on Tuesday.
The Red Devils now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ewen-Trout Creek for a Copper Mountain - Porcupine contest on Thursday, February 9. Wright will battle a Panthers team coming off a 54-37 non-league win over Baraga (Baraga, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 6-8.
The Gladiators (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Wakefield (Wakefield, MI). The Cardinals enter the Freelance contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Wakefield was nudged by Hurley (Hurley, WI), 77-58, in a non-league contest.
