Pennsylvania High School Basketball - River Valley beaten by Portage

In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Portage Mustangs basketball team scored a good 65-48 triumph over the River Valley Panthers.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the United Lions (Armagh, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 10. Portage will attempt to move on its 22-1 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 20-2 record after their 62-29 non-league win over Cambria Heights (Patton, PA).

With the defeat, River Valley moves to 12-10 on the year. The Panthers travel to Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA) to face the Mountaineers in a non-league match on Monday, February 13. The Mountaineers enter the match with a record of 8-12. Philipsburg-Osceola won 77-39 in their recent non-league match against Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA)
