The Priest River Spartans basketball team (Priest River, ID), was nudged 41-37 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting St. Maries Lumberjacks (St. Maries, ID)
The Lumberjacks now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Orofino for a 2A Central Idaho battle on Friday, February 10. St. Maries will battle a Maniacs team coming off a 56-41 non-league win over Logos (Moscow, ID). The Maniacs record now stands at 10-6.
The Spartans (4-10) will now prepare for their battle against Timberlake (Spirit Lake, ID). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 7-10 record. In their last battle, Timberlake edged Priest River (Priest River, ID), 68-45, in a non-league battle.
