The Quitman County Hornets basketball team (Georgetown, GA), was toppled 55-42 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Randolph-Clay Red Devils (Cuthbert, GA)
The Red Devils now possess a 14-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chattahoochee County for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 9. Randolph-Clay will confront a Panthers team coming off a 54-51 non-league loss to Northside (Columbus, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 19-5.
The Hornets (7-14) will now prepare for their battle against Seminole County (Donalsonville, GA). The Indians come into the A D2 Region 1B battle with a 14-9 record. In their last battle, Seminole County beat Miller County (Colquitt, GA), 65-61, in a league battle.
