Texas High School Basketball - Reagan County overwhelms Water Valley

February 7, 2023: Big Lake, TX 76932

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Reagan County Owls (Big Lake, TX) and the visiting Water Valley Wildcats (Water Valley, TX), saw Reagan County's basketball squad wallop Water Valley by a count of 95-22.

With the victory, Reagan County upgrades its record to 24-9 on the campaign. The Owls host Christoval (Christoval, TX) to play the Cougars in a 2A Region I District 7 challenge on Friday, February 10. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 19-12. Christoval won 46-39 in their recent league challenge against Sterling City (Sterling City, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Forsan Buffaloes (Forsan, TX) in a 2A Region I District 7 challenge, on Friday, February 10. Water Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 16-14 season record. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a 13-16 record after their 63-44 league win over Ozona (Ozona, TX).
