In Tuesday's league outing, the St. Augustine Knights (Laredo, TX) basketball squad edged the visiting TMI-Episcopal Panthers (San Antonio, TX), by a count of 56-54.
The Knights (23-4) will now prepare for their outing against St. Joseph Academy (Brownsville, TX). The Bloodhounds go into the TAPPS 5A District 4 outing with a 20-5 record. In their last outing, St. Joseph Academy was tipped by TMI-Episcopal (San Antonio, TX), 91-87, in a league outing.
The Panthers now hold a 23-9 record. They play next when they host St. Anthony for a TAPPS 5A District 4 outing on Thursday, February 9. TMI-Episcopal will clash with a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 69-56 league win over St. Joseph (Victoria, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 11-7.
