Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Williamsville South Billies (Williamsville, NY) and the visiting Starpoint Spartans (Lockport, NY), saw Williamsville South's basketball squad overcome Starpoint by a tally of 65-55.

With the victory, Williamsville South improves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Billies host Williamsville East (East Amherst, NY) to battle the Flames in a Section 6 Erie County II contest on Friday, February 10. The Flames come into the contest with a record of 8-8. Williamsville East won 72-63 in their recent league contest against Iroquois (Elma, NY)

The Spartans (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Hamburg (Hamburg, NY). The Bulldogs come into the Section 6 Erie County II contest with a 4-14 record. In their last contest, Hamburg dropped by West Seneca East (West Seneca, NY), 53-38, in a league contest.
