Colorado High School Basketball - Weld Central tipped by Sterling

The Sterling Tigers basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Weld Central Rebels to 52 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Resurrection Christian for a 4A Patriot contest on Thursday, February 9. Sterling will meet a Cougars team coming off a 56-34 non-league win over Platte Valley (Kersey, CO). The Cougars record now stands at 15-4.

The Rebels (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Eaton (Eaton, CO). The Reds enter the 4A Patriot contest with a 17-3 record. In their last contest, Eaton nudged Valley (Gilcrest, CO), 63-41, in a league contest.
