Westfall Mustangs (Williamsport, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Unioto Shermans (Chillicothe, OH), 78-65 in a league bout.

With the win, Westfall upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Mustangs host Piketon (Piketon, OH) to play the Redstreaks in a Scioto Valley bout on Friday, February 10. The Redstreaks go into the bout with a record of 6-14. Piketon won 75-67 in their recent league bout against Huntington (Chillicothe, OH)

Next up, the Shermans play the Huntington Huntsmen (Chillicothe, OH) in a Scioto Valley bout, on Friday, February 10. Unioto will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record. The Huntsmen go into the bout with a 4-16 record after their 75-67 league loss to Piketon (Piketon, OH).
