In Tuesday's league outing, the Weymouth Wildcats (South Weymouth, MA) basketball squad edged the visiting Walpole Timberwolves (Walpole, MA), by a count of 74-68.
The Wildcats (8-8) will now prepare for their outing against Braintree (Braintree, MA). The Wamps go into the Bay State - Herget outing with a 6-10 record. In their last outing, Braintree held off Framingham (Framingham, MA), 50-35, in a non-league outing.
The Timberwolves now hold a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Needham for a Bay State - Herget outing on Friday, February 10. Walpole will clash with a Rockets squad coming off a 65-26 league win over Milton (Milton, MA). The Rockets record now stands at 14-1.
