Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO) and the visiting Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO), saw Cheyenne Mountain's basketball squad overcome Air Academy by a tally of 73-54.

With the victory, Cheyenne Mountain improves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Red-Tailed Hawks travel to Discovery Canyon (Colorado Springs, CO) to confront the Thunder in a challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Thunder come into the challenge with a record of 7-7. Discovery Canyon lost 47-41 in their recent league battle against Lutheran (Parker, CO)

The Kadets (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO). The Bears come into the battle with a 2-10 record.
