Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Horizon Scorpions (El Paso, TX), 65-18 in a league bout.

With the win, Parkland upgrades its record to 16-1 on the season. The Matadors host Ysleta (El Paso, TX) to play the Indians in a bout on Friday, February 10. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Ysleta won 37-25 in their recent league bout against Hanks (El Paso, TX)

Next up, the Scorpions play the Hanks Knights (El Paso, TX) in a bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Horizon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
