Colorado High School Basketball - Sterling knocked off by Weld Central

The Weld Central Rebels basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Sterling Tigers to 36 in the Rebels league triumph on Tuesday.
The Rebels now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley for a contest on Saturday, February 11. Weld Central will face a Vikings team coming off a 50-39 league loss to University (Greeley, CO). The Vikings record now stands at 2-12.
With the defeat, Sterling moves to 7-8 on the year. The Tigers travel to Resurrection Christian (Loveland, CO) to face the Cougars in a game on Thursday, February 9. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 6-2. Resurrection Christian won 61-18 in their recent non-league game against Platte Valley (Kersey, CO)
