The Northgate Broncos basketball team (Walnut Creek, CA), was overwhelmed 65-17 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Acalanes Dons (Lafayette, CA)
The Dons now possess a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Miramonte for a Diablo - Foothill battle on Thursday, February 9. Acalanes will confront a Matadors team coming off a 79-47 league win over Alhambra (Martinez, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 22-3.
The Broncos (18-7) will now prepare for their battle against Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA). The Ugly Eagles come into the Diablo - Foothill battle with a 10-15 record. In their last battle, Clayton Valley Charter was overwhelmed by Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA), 47-29, in a league battle.
