The River Rouge Panthers basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Advanced Tech Academy Lakers to 22 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamtramck for a Michigan Metro contest on Friday, February 17. River Rouge will battle a Cosmos team coming off a 57-45 league win over University Prep (Detroit, MI). The Cosmos record now stands at 8-5.

The Lakers (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Richard (Riverview, MI). The Pioneers come into the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Richard was routed by Lutheran North (Macomb, MI), 47-38, in a non-league contest.
