Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Ambridge overwhelmed by Blackhawk

The Blackhawk Cougars basketball team scored 87 points and restricted the visiting Ambridge Bridgers to 9 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Quaker Valley for a WPIAL 4A 2 contest on Wednesday, February 8. Blackhawk will battle a Quakers team coming off a 42-37 league win over Hopewell (Aliquippa, PA). The Quakers record now stands at 14-6.
The Bridgers (1-16) will now prepare for their contest against Hopewell (Aliquippa, PA). The Vikings come into the WPIAL 4A 2 contest with a 9-12 record. In their last contest, Hopewell triumphed over New Castle (New Castle, PA), 38-25, in a non-league contest.
