American Fork Cavemen (American Fork, UT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pleasant Grove Vikings (Pleasant Grove, UT), 46-37 in a league bout.

With the win, American Fork upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Cavemen host Lone Peak (Highland, UT) to play the Knights in a 6A Region 4 bout on Friday, February 10. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 16-3. Lone Peak won 55-40 in their recent league bout against Skyridge (Lehi, UT)

Next up, the Vikings play the Westlake Thunder (Saratoga Springs, UT) in a 6A Region 4 bout, on Friday, February 10. Pleasant Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Thunder go into the bout with a 14-6 record after their 54-43 league win over Corner Canyon (Draper, UT).
