Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Fox Chapel knocked off by Armstrong

The Armstrong River Hawks basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Fox Chapel Foxes to 37 in the River Hawks league triumph on Tuesday.
The River Hawks now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gateway for a non-league contest on Monday, February 13. Armstrong will battle a Gators team coming off a 44-30 non-league loss to Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA). The Gators record now stands at 4-16.
The Foxes (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA). The Titans enter the WPIAL 5A 2 contest with a 15-6 record. In their last contest, Shaler Area ran past Hampton (Allison Park, PA), 51-38, in a league contest.
