The Wheaton/Herman-Norcross Warriors basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Battle Lake Battlers to 39 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brandon/Evansville for a A Section 6 contest on Thursday, February 9. Wheaton/Herman-Norcross will meet a Chargers team coming off a 62-21 league loss to Underwood (Underwood, MN). The Chargers record now stands at 5-9.

The Battlers (1-19) will now prepare for their contest against Ashby (Ashby, MN). The Arrows enter the A Section 6 contest with a 1-18 record. In their last contest, Ashby was routed by Verndale (Verndale, MN), 62-40, in a non-league contest.
