The Belleville Buccaneers (Belleville, NJ) basketball crushed the visiting Weequahic Indians (Newark, NJ), 51-11 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Buccaneers (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Science Park (Newark, NJ). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, Science Park was trounced by Somerville (Somerville, NJ), 38-35, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Glen Ridge for a non-league test on Thursday, February 9. Weequahic will encounter a Ridgers squad coming off a 54-39 non-league win over Payne Tech (Newark, NJ). The Ridgers record now stands at 19-1.
