Blevins Hornets (Blevins, AR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Legacy Academy Warriors (Lockesburg, AR), 52-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Blevins upgrades its record to 3-7 on the campaign. The Hornets host Poyen (Poyen, AR) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Friday, February 10. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 2-12. Poyen lost 53-21 in their recent league bout against Bigelow (Bigelow, AR)

Next up, the Warriors play the Christian Ministries Academy Conquerors (Hot Springs, AR) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. Legacy Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-22 season record. The Conquerors come into the bout with a 12-9 record after their 58-17 league win over Southwest Christian Academy (Little Rock, AR).
