In Tuesday's league outing, the Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, IA) basketball squad felled the host Boone Toreadors (Boone, IA), by a margin of 46-35.
The Tigers (9-12) will now prepare for their outing against Carlisle (Carlisle, IA). The Wildcats go into the Raccoon River bout with a 13-5 record. In their last bout, Carlisle was knocked off by Carroll (Carroll, IA), 61-54, in a league bout.
Next up, the Toreadors play the North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA) in a Raccoon River bout, on Friday, February 10. Boone will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 17-1 record after their 64-49 league win over Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA).
