North Carolina High School Basketball - East Gaston falls to Burns

In Tuesday's league match, the host Burns Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 36-26 triumph over the East Gaston Warriors.

In their next game, the Bulldogs meet the Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 40 match, on Friday, February 10. Burns will attempt to better on its 8-13 season record. The Golden Lions enter the match with a 20-1 record after their 60-35 league win over Thomas Jefferson (Mooresboro, NC).

With the defeat, East Gaston moves to 5-15 on the year. The Warriors host Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC) to meet the Rams in a 1A/2A Conference 40 match on Friday, February 10. The Rams enter the match with a record of 7-15. Highland Tech lost 60-22 in their recent league match against Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC)
