In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Burnsville Blaze (Burnsville, MN) basketball squad nipped the visiting Farmington Tigers (Farmington, MN), by a margin of 71-65.

The Blaze (4-15) will now prepare for their outing against Eastview (Apple Valley, MN). The Lightning go into the AAAA Section 3 outing with a 11-9 record. In their last outing, Eastview got by Park (Cottage Grove, MN), 49-20, in a league outing.

The Tigers now own a 5-15 record. They play next when they host Lakeville North for a AAAA Section 1 outing on Friday, February 10. Farmington will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 62-55 league win over Lakeville South (Lakeville, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 15-5.
