With the victory, Carlsbad upgrades its record to 21-2 on the campaign. The Cavemen host Roswell (Roswell, NM) to play the Coyotes in a 5A District 4 challenge on Friday, February 10. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a record of 9-14. Roswell lost 62-22 in their recent league challenge against Hobbs (Hobbs, NM)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) in a 5A District 4 challenge, on Friday, February 10. Clovis will attempt to upgrade on its 17-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 19-3 record after their 62-22 league win over Roswell (Roswell, NM).
