The Cedar Creek Cougars (Ruston, LA) basketball crushed the visiting St. Frederick Warriors (Monroe, LA), 62-23 in Tuesday's league test.
The Cougars (13-5) will now prepare for their test against River Oaks (Monroe, LA). The Mustangs go into the 1A District 2 test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, River Oaks was trounced by Ouachita Christian (Monroe, LA), 65-40, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Kilbourne for a non-league test on Friday, February 10. St. Frederick will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 57-28 league loss to Family Community Christian (Winnsboro, LA). The Hawks record now stands at 4-20.
