The Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] Cougars basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the visiting Center-Stanton Wildcats to 24 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Standing Rock for a B Region 5 contest on Friday, February 10. Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] will battle a Warriors team coming off a 59-44 non-league loss to McLaughlin (McLaughlin, SD). The Warriors record now stands at 3-6.
The Wildcats (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Underwood (Underwood, ND). The Comets come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
