Howell Rebels (Farmingdale, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Central Regional Golden Eagles (Bayville, NJ), 62-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Howell upgrades its record to 17-6 on the season. The Rebels travel to Trinity Hall (Tinton Falls, NJ) to play the in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 9. The go into the bout with a record of 19-4. Trinity Hall lost 48-43 in their recent non-league bout against St. Rose (Belmar, NJ)

Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. Central Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Garnet Gulls go into the bout with a 15-4 record after their 55-34 non-league loss to Manchester Township (Lakehurst, NJ).
