Virginia High School Basketball - Central Wise overwhelms Honaker

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Central Wise Warriors (Norton, VA) and the host Honaker Tigers (Honaker, VA), saw Central Wise's basketball squad wallop Honaker by a tally of 57-34.
With the victory, Central Wise improves its record to 18-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to John Battle (Bristol, VA) to confront the Trojans in a Mountain challenge on Friday, February 10. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 9-12.
Next up, the Tigers confront the Council Cobras (Council, VA) in a Black Diamond challenge, on Wednesday, February 8. Honaker will attempt to improve on its 14-7 season record. The Cobras come into the challenge with a 2-18 record after their 68-61 non-league loss to Phelps (Phelps, KY).
