The Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI) basketball crushed the host Cheboygan Chiefs (Cheboygan, MI), 50-11 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Northmen (11-7) will now prepare for their test against Alpena (Alpena, MI). The Wildcats go into the Big North test with a 4-10 record.
The Chiefs now own a 4-13 record. They play next when they travel to Sault Area for a Straits Area test on Thursday, February 9. Cheboygan will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 49-37 non-league win over Traverse City Central (Traverse City, MI). The Blue Devils record now stands at 12-2.
