Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Crockett County Cavaliers (Alamo, TN) and the visiting Dyer County Choctaws (Newbern, TN), saw Crockett County's basketball squad hold off Dyer County by a tally of 55-53.

With the victory, Crockett County improves its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Dyersburg (Dyersburg, TN) to confront the Trojans in a 3A District 13 challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 13-9.

Next up, the Choctaws confront the Obion County Rebels (Troy, TN) in a 3A District 13 challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Dyer County will attempt to improve on its 17-4 season record.
