Kansas High School Basketball - Leavenworth knocked off by De Soto

The De Soto Wildcats basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Leavenworth PIONEERS to 41 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lansing for a non-league contest on Friday, February 10. De Soto will meet a Lions team coming off a 51-23 non-league loss to Bonner Springs (Bonner Springs, KS). The Lions record now stands at 3-12.
The PIONEERS (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Basehor-Linwood (Basehor, KS). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Basehor-Linwood was defeated by Piper (Kansas City, KS), 39-36, in a non-league contest.
