California High School Basketball - El Cajon Valley thwarts Valhalla

The El Cajon Valley Braves (El Cajon, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Valhalla Norsemen (El Cajon, CA), 56-39 in Tuesday's league test.
The Braves (14-12) will now prepare for their test against Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA). The Monarchs go into the non-league test with a 14-11 record. In their last test, Monte Vista went down by Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA), 80-33, in a league test.
The Norsemen now own a 12-14 record. They play next when they host Steele Canyon for a Grossmont - Valley test on Friday, February 10. Valhalla will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 49-21 league win over Santana (Santee, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 22-5.
