Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Episcopal Maroon (Alexandria, VA) and the host National Cathedral (Washington, DC), saw Episcopal's basketball squad hold off National Cathedral by a tally of 41-39.
With the victory, Episcopal improves its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Maroon host Holton-Arms (Bethesda, MD) to play the in a Girls Independent - Division 2 challenge on Friday, February 10. The come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Holton-Arms lost 50-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Mercersburg Academy (Mercersburg, PA)
Next up, the play the St. Stephen's & St. Agnes Saints (Alexandria, VA) in a VISAA Division I challenge, on Thursday, February 9. National Cathedral will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record.
