In Tuesday's league outing, the Lipscomb Academy Mustangs (Nashville, TN) basketball squad edged the host Father Ryan Fightin' Irish (Nashville, TN), by a count of 41-40.
The Mustangs (12-14) will now prepare for their outing against Ensworth (Nashville, TN). The Tigers go into the Division II-AA Middle outing with a 22-3 record. In their last outing, Ensworth held off Brentwood Academy (Brentwood, TN), 56-51, in a league outing.
The Fightin' Irish now hold a 15-8 record. They play next when they host St. Cecilia Academy for a non-league outing on Friday, February 10. Father Ryan will clash with a Scarabs squad coming off a 56-35 non-league loss to Christ Presbyterian Academy (Nashville, TN). The Scarabs record now stands at 6-16.
