The Worth County Rams basketball team (Sylvester, GA), was nudged 58-52 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane (Fitzgerald, GA)
The Purple Hurricane now possess a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jeff Davis for a AA Region 1 battle on Friday, February 10. Fitzgerald will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 56-38 league loss to Cook (Adel, GA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-21.
The Rams (9-14) will now prepare for their battle against Sumter County (Americus, GA). The Panthers come into the AA Region 1 battle with a 3-19 record. In their last battle, Sumter County was nudged by Dodge County (Eastman, GA), 57-33, in a league battle.
