Frederick Cadets (Frederick, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Governor Thomas Johnson Patriots (Frederick, MD), 58-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Frederick upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Cadets host Urbana (Ijamsville, MD) to play the Hawks in a Central Maryland bout on Thursday, February 16. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 13-6.

Next up, the Patriots play the Catoctin Cougars (Thurmont, MD) in a Central Maryland bout, on Friday, February 10. Governor Thomas Johnson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-17 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 15-4 record after their 53-34 league win over Clear Spring (Clear Spring, MD).
