In Tuesday's league outing, the Fulton Pirates (Middleton, MI) basketball squad beat the host Merrill Vandals (Merrill, MI), by a count of 32-18.

The Pirates (9-8) will now prepare for their outing against St. Charles (St. Charles, MI). The Bulldogs go into the Mid-State outing with a 15-2 record. In their last outing, St. Charles defeated Carson City-Crystal (Carson City, MI), 45-25, in a league outing.

The Vandals now hold a 4-13 record. They play next when they travel to Vestaburg for a Mid-State outing on Saturday, February 11. Merrill will clash with a Wolverines squad coming off a 43-40 league win over Coleman (Coleman, MI). The Wolverines record now stands at 5-12.
