Georgia High School Basketball - Jackson County ripped by Gainesville

The Gainesville Red Elephants basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Jackson County Panthers to 24 in the Red Elephants league triumph on Tuesday.
The Red Elephants now sport a 20-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shiloh for a AAAAAA Region 8 contest on Friday, February 10. Gainesville will meet a Generals team coming off a 53-28 league win over Jackson County (Jefferson, GA). The Generals record now stands at 8-15.
The Panthers (6-18) will now prepare for their contest against Habersham Central (Mt. Airy, GA). The Raiders enter the AAAAAA Region 8 contest with a 16-7 record. In their last contest, Habersham Central triumphed over Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA), 53-24, in a league contest.
