The Garden Plain Owls (Garden Plain, KS) basketball knocked off the visiting Independent Panthers (Wichita, KS), 49-39 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Owls (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Kingman (Kingman, KS). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 6-10 record. In their last test, Kingman went down by Independent (Wichita, KS), 70-18, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 10-4 record. They play next when they host Chaparral for a non-league test on Friday, February 10. Independent will encounter a Roadrunners squad coming off a 55-44 non-league loss to Conway Springs (Conway Springs, KS). The Roadrunners record now stands at 7-9.
