The Gardiner Tigers (Gardiner, ME) basketball knocked off the host Lawrence Bulldogs (Fairfield, ME), 53-44 in Tuesday's league test.
The Tigers (16-1) will now prepare for their test against Skowhegan (Skowhegan, ME). The River Hawks go into the A North test with a 7-10 record. In their last test, Skowhegan went down by Cony (Augusta, ME), 61-48, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 12-3 record. They play next when they travel to Cony for a A North test on Thursday, February 9. Lawrence will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 61-48 league win over Skowhegan (Skowhegan, ME). The Rams record now stands at 15-3.
